Jiaxing Huang
Principal Investigator
Jiaxing Huang had cofounded this company with Willis Li. He is the principal investigator of this company, who is in-charge for the discovery of new technologies for Osteopathic applications. Jiaxing has accumulated a lot of research experience during his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Toronto. Currently, Jiaxing will conduct research under Professor Mohini Sain from the University of Toronto on a biodegradable bone adhesive using a novel biomaterial that promises to make Orthopedic surgery much easier for smaller bone fragments and eliminate the need for any secondary surgery. Jiaxing will also collaborate with Yinan Liu to design an additive manufacturing process to produce the biodegradable bone plates.

Willis Li
Co-founder
Willis Li is the cofounder and operation manager at Osteoway Inc. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. He was brought on board for his management skills. Before Osteoway, he had already successfully started a company on his own, and had extensive experience in business management, and connecting with external partners.

Yinan Liu
Research Assistant
Research assistant at University of Toronto. Extensive experience in research and development of new materials. He had worked with Dr. Mohini Sain(PhD, Dr.hc, FRSC (UK), FCAE, P.Eng.) since June 2018, and have published a peer-reviewed paper as a co-author. Under the influence of Dr. Sain, he started his biomaterial research project in late 2020.

Ruoling Yang
Finance officer
Ruoling Yang is the finance officer at Osteoway Inc. She received her Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, specializing in data analysis. Ruoling’s main responsibility is to manage the financial actions of the company, including tracking various transactions and financial planning, as well as analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions.
